This training is comprised of Level 2 - Technician Training elements. The training will provide firefighters with knowledge related to legislation of elevated and rope rescues, rope construction, care maintenance, inspection, anchors, knots and emergency traumas. Knowing the legislation related to rope rescue, rope construction, maintenance, anchors, knots and emergency traumas will help ensure that a firefighter performs the rescue safely.

 

Level 1 - Operations training is available as a separate offering.

 

This training is applicable to the Emergency Services sector, particularly Fire Services. This training is for all firefighters who need to perform elevated rescues involving ropes.
