November 27, 2013 – We would like to extend our congratulations to all members of PSHSA’s 2012 Safety Group and the Northern Ontario Safety Group on achieving such impressive results this past year!

Not only did the PSHSA Safety Group share in a rebate of $1,145,068.38, the group was also able to reduce the frequency of workplace injuries and illnesses by 14.71% and decrease the severity of injuries and illnesses by 19.8%! Likewise, the Northern Ontario Safety Group shared rebates of $1.4 million! Other milestones include a 14.29% improvement in frequency and a 23.8% improvement in severity of injuries and illnesses. These results represent the third year that the PSHSA Safety Group rebates have been awarded in excess of $1 million.

We are very proud of all our client participants. Thank you for making health and safety a priority in your organization! We hope that you have gained many important insights and you continue to actively invest in your organization’s health and safety programs. We are grateful for your help in furthering occupational health and safety in our province.
