MOL Extends Invitation to Participate in Safe At Work Ontario Strategic Consultations and First-Ever Integrated OHS Discussions

The Ministry of Labour (MOL) is extending an invitation to Stakeholders to participate in their annual Safe At Work Ontario strategic consultations taking place across the province during February and March 2013. Ministry representatives will be facilitating discussions to obtain your feedback on their occupational health and safety enforcement strategy and employment standards proactive enforcement, education and outreach for 2013/2014.

In addition, the MOL is reaching out to stakeholders in these meetings to provide input on the first-ever integrated occupational health and safety strategy for Ontario. This strategy, which was highlighted as an important outcome in the Expert Advisory Panel on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), will provide a clear vision for Ontario’s OHS system partners and other stakeholders, with goals and priorities that will shape their operational plans and programs in the years ahead.
