Ontario’s Government Pays Respect To Fallen Officers And Their Families

Premier Dalton McGuinty paid tribute on Sunday, May 6, at the annual Ceremony of Rememberance to Ontario police officers who lost their lives in service to the province.

 

Held annually on the first Sunday in May, this year’s ceremony included a Procession of Honour along Queen’s Park crescent to the memorial site. OPP Commissioner Chris Lewis, Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair, families of the deceased, members of police services and associations from across the country were also in attendance.
