Ontario Occupational Disease Statistics

Workers are regularly exposed to hazards in the workplace that can cause cancers and other diseases. With interactive data tools, this website invites users to explore risks of disease for Ontario workers in 5 industry sectors and hundreds of occupation groups based on results from the Occupational Disease Surveillance System. Information is available in a variety of formats in both English and French. Explore our Data Tool, watch our animated video, or check out our infographics for an overview of key findings. With this launch, we are presenting data for the construction, healthcare, metal manufacturing, mining, and transportation sectors. Additional sectors and additional information about workplace exposures are coming soon.
