PSHSA’s Annual Report Receives International Recognition

PSHSA is pleased to share that its 2018-19 Annual Report Community Connections: Strong Partnerships Towards a Shared Vision has received the Platinum MarCom Award in three categories: Nonprofit, Association and Government.

Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the MarCom Awards honour excellence in marketing and communication while recognizing the creativity and hard work of industry professionals. Since its inception in 2004, MarCom has evolved into one of the largest, most-respected creative competitions in the world.

This year, 6,000+ print and digital entries were submitted by corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers from dozens of countries. Entries are judged individually, not compared to other entries in their categories; all work is evaluated solely on its own quality, creativity and resourcefulness. Entries receiving scores between 90-100 points are Platinum Winners. The complete list of winners can be viewed here: http://enter.marcomawards.com/winners/.

For PSHSA, 2018-19 was all about community. The extent to which we are able to evolve is determined by the diversity of knowledge, perspectives and experiences with which we surround ourselves. We are building and fostering strong, inspiring communities through partnerships, projects and initiatives. This includes the creation of new, meaningful connections, the nurturing of strong existing relationships and the collaboration of sometimes seemingly disparate groups. We are learning from each other, challenging ourselves to think differently and exploring new ways of doing things – all grounded in the belief that we can achieve greater things together.

This year's annual report aimed to encapsulate this approach. The design reflects PSHSA's six far-reaching communities - Health and Wellness, Technology, Research, Influencers & Advocates, Leadership, and PSHSA's own internal community. The report features many of our partnership efforts, collaborative projects and collective success stories, as a means to celebrate community, express our gratitude to our supporters and influencers, and continue to inspire positive outcomes for Ontario's workers.

We are fortunate to work with talent that exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
