By registering for, and attending, The Workplace, Reimaged - Emerging Stronger Virtual Conference (“Virtual Conference”) hosted by Public Services Health and Safety Association (“PSHSA”), you (“User”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and all other terms and conditions, operating rules, policies and procedures that are communicated by PSHSA to the User from time to time. If the User does not agree with anything contained in these terms and conditions, the User must not attend in the Virtual Conference.
PSHSA does not accept any liability for the User’s attendance at, and participation in, the Virtual Conference. The User’s attendance at, and participation in, the Virtual Conference is at the User’s own risk. The electronic information and telecommunication technologies used to host the Virtual Conference (“Virtual Platform”) are provided by PSHSA on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any representations, warranties or conditions of any kind, whether expressed or implied, and including, without limitation, implied representations, warranties or conditions of non-infringement, fitness for a particular purposes, performance, availability, accuracy or completeness, all of which are disclaimed by PSHSA to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Further, PSHSA makes no representation or warranty of any kind whatsoever, whether expressed or implied, in respect of information, materials, techniques, products or anything else presented at, or in connection with, the Virtual Conference (“Conference Information”), including, without limitation, implied representations, warranties or conditions of non-infringement, fitness for a particular purposes, performance, availability, accuracy or completeness, all of which are disclaimed by PSHSA to the fullest extent permitted by law. The User is solely responsible for determining the validity, adequacy, and fitness of the Conference Information for any and all uses. The views, opinions and statements made at, or in connection with, the Virtual Conference are solely those of the speakers and may not reflect the views of PSHSA. All statements made by PSHSA at or, in connection with, the Virtual Conference or included in conference materials are informational only and are not made or given as a representation or warranty.
Under no circumstances will PSHSA (or its directors, officers, employees, or agents) be liable, whether in contract, tort or otherwise for any losses, damages, costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever, including special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, arising, directly or indirectly, out of, or in connection with, the User’s attendance at, and participation in, the Virtual Conference, including its use of the Virtual Platform and the Conference Information.
These terms and conditions and all related matters are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The parties irrevocably and unconditionally attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the province of Ontario.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, such determination shall not impair or affect the validity, legality or enforceability of the remaining provisions hereof, and each provision is hereby declared to be separate, severable and distinct.
These terms and conditions shall be binding upon and shall ensure to the benefit of the parties hereto and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, successors and permitted assigns.
