This training program is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the basic principles and goals of a program for controlling energy hazards while also providing the basic tools for creating workplace-specific procedures. Participants will learn about the types and common sources of energy hazards.
The methods for recognizing these hazards are discussed. Among other topics, this training provides examples of apparent energy and stored energy, as well as danger tags and lock out procedures.
Appropriate for the Municipal sector, this training will provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely work with energy hazards. Individuals in your organization may be exposed to energy hazards that can lead to serious injury or death. Proper training in procedures, hazard awareness and hazard control will keep individuals safe.
