This eLearning is designed for anyone who works with ladders, at all levels, across all workplace sectors. This program provides a practical introduction to working safely with a variety of ladders used in the workplace and provides a thorough understanding of ladder use and practice. This program also addresses:
- The basics of ladder safety, with a focus on rights, roles and responsibilities of workplace parties and regulatory requirements in different sectors
- Ladder types and specifications, safety precautions and best practices in use of ladders
- Common ladder hazards and controls through a review of hierarchy of controls and use of Personal Protective Equipment
- The inspection, storage and maintenance of ladders
By the end of this eLearning module, you will be able to:
