Group Home Inspection Initiative and Sector Overview - Introductory Workshop

Representatives from the Ontario Ministry of Labour and PSHSA will facilitate this workshop. Participants will receive an overview of the upcoming inspection initiative along with tips on what to expect, and how to prepare should an inspector visit their workplace. The session will also review the hazards common to the sector, system variables affecting health and safety, learnings from past Ministry initiatives related to Group Homes as well as an introduction and review of using OH&S leading indicators (IWH Organizational Performance Metric (OPM)). The purpose and objective of the future hazard specific workshops relative the inspection initiative focus will also be discussed.
