Workers in Group Homes may be at risk of exposure to infections when supporting individuals. This workshop will discuss the development and implementation of infection control work practices and provide an overview of procedures for safety engineered needles, should a worker be asked to work with or around safety engineered needles.

The objective of hazard specific workshops is to provide an overview of the hazards that will be a focus of the proactive initiative. Participants will be provided with resources to assess their efforts related to each hazard and help generate an action plan for future conformance activities. Follow up and onsite assistance can be requested. Your PSHSA consultant can assist with specific policies and program development if needed at your location(s).
