There is a lot of responsibility that comes with being a supervisor or manager. Supervisors and managers are expected to provide guidance and support to their team, but they also are required to know the legal risks, requirements and processes.

This training program will refresh participants’ knowledge of legislated health and safety responsibilities, the internal responsibility system, worker’s rights and the supervisor’s role in workplace management.

Upon completion of this program, participants will have met the requirements of section 27 of the Act in relation to supervisor/manager competency. This program is designed for all supervisors and managers and is applicable across all sectors.

Applicable to all sectors, this mandatory training is applicable to all Ontario workplaces. The completion of this program ensures competency of supervisors/managers. The training will enhance knowledge of the legislated health and safety responsibilities that must be followed. The training also speaks to the internal responsibility system, worker’s rights and supervisor’s role in workplace management. The intent is to assist and refresh our clients knowledge to ensure they are competent supervisors/managers and in compliance with section 27 of the Act, supervisor/manager responsibilities.
