As of April 1, 2015, if you are working at heights, you are required to have training through a Ministry of Labour approved provider. This Blended program includes information about how to work at heights safely, as well as practical application of skills. When you are done you will know the hazards and how to protect yourself. The practical classroom component, delivered by our experts, ensures you know how to properly use, inspect, don and doff your equipment. PSHSA’s approved course meets the requirements of the MOL Working at Heights Training Program and covers both the theory and practical requirements outlined in the standard.
This training is applicable to all employees at all levels across all sectors whom work at heights.
The Working at Heights Blended Training program is made up of two parts:
Upon registration, instructions on how to access to the Working at Heights Basic Theory eLearning module will be emailed to each learner. This eLearning module, including the quiz at the end, must be completed and passed before you attend the practical classroom session. Once you have completed the eLearning component and passed the online quiz you will be required to sign up for the Practical Classroom Module if you haven’t already done so. Available classroom sessions for the classroom component can be viewed below to help plan your time.
Note: Registration for the classroom training portion closes 48 hours prior to session start date
Please note that the final Working at Heights Training Program evaluation administered at the end of the classroom module will test on knowledge obtained in both the eLearning Module and the Classroom Module.
