PSHSA’s Workplace Violence is a 1/2-day in-class course. The course provides workers and employers in all sectors with the knowledge, skills and steps to follow to recognize violence in the workplace, assess the risks of workplace violence, apply strategies to control and prevent violence and evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies. 

Participants will learn to recognize different types of violence as well as signs and risk factors associated with workplace violence. They will understand why it is important to report incidences of workplace violence. Finally, this course will provide participants with some tools and tips for creating and maintaining a respectful and safe work environment. 

This training is applicable to all sectors and for all employees or workplaces
